Quality Ensurance
Universidad Azteca is recognized in Mexico and is subject to both the statutory internal quality assurance system and the state control of compliance with statutory regulations by the Ministry of Education.
The Mexican Education Act obliges Universidad Azteca to comply with the following provisions when conducting studies with official recognition:
Art. 55: The approvals and recognitions of the official validity of the studies are awarded if the applicants demonstrate the following:
Personnel adequately trained to provide training and, where applicable, meet all the requirements set out in Article 21,
Systems that meet the hygienic, safety-related and educational requirements specified by the awarding authority. For the establishment of a new location, a new authorization or a new recognition is required, depending on the case, and
Plans and programs of studies which the awarding authority judges as suitable for the case of education deviating from preschool, primary school, secondary school, regular teaching, and the training of primary school teachers.
Art. 57: The private educational institutions that conduct education with authorization or with recognition of the official validity of the studies must:
I. comply with the provisions of Article 3 of the Federal Constitution of the United States of Mexico and this Act
II. Comply with the plans and programs that have been determined or assessed as suitable by the relevant education authorities
III. Allocate minimum grants in accordance with general guidelines established by the authorities granting authorization or recognition
IV. Comply with the requirements set out in Article 55; and
V. facilitate and cooperate in the activities of evaluation, inspection and monitoring carried out or ordered by the competent authorities.
Universidad Azteca demonstrated its endeavors for external audits and institutional accreditation of the quality of the university and in 2013 was the first Mexican university to receive system accreditation by the state-recognized British accreditation agency ASIC (2013-2017) as a "Premier University".
The current strategic orientation of the Universidad Azteca is aimed at quality management systems and TQM. The TQM of the Universidad Azteca has been awarded by the Latin American Quality Initiative Organization LAQI and the quality management system of the Universidad Azteca is certified by the BQS Board of Quality Standards and by AfQ according to ISO 9001 and ISO 29990.
Universidad Azteca European Programmes is a certified member of EADL European Association of Distance Learning and the IADL International Association of Distance Learning.
DIQMA & TRACCERT
The international study programs of the Universidad Atzeca, including those carried out in Austria, are accredited by DIQMA German Institute for Quality Assurance, Management Systems and Assessment, as well as programmatic accreditation by TRACCERT Training Accreditation & Certification Organization Canada.
DIQMA certifies management systems and training.
TRACCERT Canada is a government registered accreditation agency and certification body in the post-secondary education sector:
